Hello there,

Does anyone know any good cheap audi service places in S.E London??

I need to get a wheel alignment done and an brake fluid change /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I took it to Bexley Audi Stealers for a service and they quoted me over 300 british pounds for these two jobs...

Please can anyone help ? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

do you remember where the vag specilist in woolwich was or was called?

I say go to sanspeed in Bexleyheath www.sanspeed.co.uk
There is also a small garage behind the Karate place on Plumstead common the guy is ex audi CB Restoration dont know the number but I have used them for body work stuff

Why is my writing green?

you mean the taekwondo school on the common? --i used to go there, the school not the garage :)

i'll give sanspeed a ring tomorrow and see how much a annual service/cambelt/water pump/brake fluid change will dent my wallet by. lots i imagine!

Slade School or something? Isnt that a special school?
Joke! Yep thats the place... I live just round the way from there small world

its a kick yo' *** special school ;) ah who am i kidding, i dropped out.

small world indeed i live about 5 minutes away from there.

You dropped out of primary school?! anyway if you see a denim blue a3 with a soon to be placed AS.net sticker on the back window that'd be me

I live about 5 minutes walk from Sanspeed. I've used them on both of my B5s & their work was top class.

i should really get some pictures of my car up on the site, its fairly recogniseable i think, black pre-facelift a3, 17" avus alloys, darkened side/rear windows, bebadged, blacked out grill and blackened badges (to be replaced this weekend, hopefully).

although its sitting near trees at the moment and its dirty as hell, no matter how hard i clean it!

might have seen your car at some point, was at the shell station and saw a sweet looking blue A3 drive past, thought to myself damn thats a nice colour.

cool, might take my custom to sanspeed and see how the service shapes up, might save me a trek to fontain yet!

called them up asking about a annual service, cambelt, waterpump --damage comes to the region of £480 (£180 for the annual service apparently) and they'll need the car for the best part of a day and for an extra £50 they'll do the brake fluid change as i dont think its been changed for the best part of 30k :/

those prices sound about right?

Nope.. cos the £180 and £50 comes up to £230...

okay, i meant £480 for the cost of cambelt, water pump and annual service.

Sounds pretty good. About two years ago, they did the works on my 2.8 Quattro; service, cambelt, MOT, water pump, plus they re-sprayed the front bumper. All that came to just over £700, so your figures seem about right to me.

JDP I always assumed you were from Strood/Medway towns type area for some reason

I used to drink in yates/lloyds etc a few years ago... cant deal with it now though I very rarely go Bexleyheath these days
