should get them back by the end of the week like new i hope :)

Do you intend on taking the inlet manifold off to change them?

If you could do a guide of removing and refitting the seats with pictures I'd be very grateful.

They can be changed with the inlet on if they come out ok but I'm going to take the inlet mani off so I can paint it as its on the list to do so might as well do it now, will take pictures when I change them

managed to get my inlet manifold off today also took out the injector seats and painted my inlet with some black wrinkle finish paint.
2 of the injector seats came out easy but the other 2 cracked and i had to get my dremel and carefully cut them out.

stripped the inlet down

IMGP0957_zps8b00a444.jpg

sprayed the seats with wd40 and got a 19mm bolt to undo them

Great pictures and write up. Thank you.

Looks like replacing the injector seats is definitely an inlet manifold off job.

A good time to fit a phenolic gasket! ?

Will you be gluing the seats back in? If so what do you plan to use?

Yeah mate I would recommend taking the inlet off to change the seats, I will be using hi temp silicone to fit the seats back in, just going to stick with the standard gaskets for now need the car back on the road asap really

Got my injectors back today and looking as new great service :) 1 of the injectors had a slight leak and another had a streaky spray pattern before being fully serviced now there good as new and a increase in flow to glad i got them done

Mr injector uk been around for years and have a good rep, cost me £50 then postage on top of that which he only uses special delivery. Give him a ring and explain what you want doing and send them off on arrival he tests them before servicing and he will give you ring and tell you the results and take payment I sent them on Tuesday and got them today so a good service over all

That looks awesome. OEM+ so Tuffty should love it ;)

Seemingly difficult to get here though and it's one of those things that can't be sent by mail I think.

Have you thought about routing that block breather hose underneath the inlet, the other side of the TB?

New washer bottle next ;)

Lol Tuffty's bay is mint ain't it, yeah the wrinkle srpay is extremely flammable mate that's prob why
i am going to try and re do that piping but it does not flex well and funny you should about water bottle was going to change it in the future :)

They're cheap to replace (expansion tank) and freshen the bay nicely. Not sure why I said washer bottle haha.

I found that with some hose. I just redone mine using Fragola AN hose though and that was way more flexible. $8/ft. plus all the fittings though. Looks nice but not sure it's totally worth it.

yeah going to get an expansion tank at one point Sam not sure on the hoses yet

changed the oil+ filter put colder plugs in and gapped them to 0.7 ready for my remap at Bills on sat, also fitted some coil adapters that Tuffty found for a £10 very happy with them great find :).
So the car is all ready now checked everything over and all good to go roll on sat remap time :)
