    Fitting new ds2 bulbs.....

    How the hell do those ds2 bulbs come out of the lense? I have twisted off the ballast connection from rear of bulb. But I can't figure out how the bulb comes out. Is it pull? Twist? Or is there a locking spring?
    MODS - Custom Code phase 1, 007p DV, various powerflex bushes, EBC grooved and drilled - red stuff pads, N249 deletion. Badger5 V2 80mm TIP. Scorpion backbox + custom centre section, LCR front splitter, Jetex Fr-08001, R32 rear ARB, Forged IE rifle drilled rods, 20mm rear & 15mm front spacers.

    TO DO - Coilovers, adjustable tie arms, DP/mani/decat, FMIC and new remap

    On mine (A4) theres a circular locking ring on the outside of the bulbholder that you twist off, then the lamp itself just lifts out.

    Cheers mate, shall check it out. Trying to be carefull aswell due to my lights currently falling apart inside!

    Well that was more hassle than it was worth. Ended up completely breaking the inside of the offside headlamp. The internal part moves forwards and backwards

    Any advise to weather what is actually broken? Small white part is in the lense too, but that's always been there???

    Have you got any pictures?

    The part the bulbs are mounted in - is this the bit that's wobbly? Hopefully you just pushed the rubber mountings of the adjusters.

    If you broke something you may need to epoxy it back together.
