What width spacers?

What width spacers would be ideal on the rear of my S3 once I fit some 18" RS6 replicas?

My standard 17's look lost in the arches at the moment, so need some spacers, but want them to fit with new 18's as well.

Would 20mm be fine?

i wouldnt go so far as 20mm.

i use 10mm front (to clear porkers)
15mm rear.

for clarity, that is 10mm each side on front

and 15mm each side for rear.

I run 11mm fronts and 15mm rears!

Soes the job nicely!

20mm would be too much imo.

You could also try narrower spacer at the rear to aid turn in... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Rich i'll take your old mirror covers if you go bling-tastic. i havent been able to get hold of black mirror covers.

i can defo see the difference of the spacers when compared to mine. still not sure about it myself. i know it looks better but i'm not sure about it in terms of handling.

I will make my mind up in the next few weeks whether to go for the mirrors.

rich - let us know which covers you go for, i'm struggling to find black covers and once i move and have a garage i think just replace the ally ones i had with the same as before.
