Left rear body panel removal

Is it possible to remove/replace the rear body panels on the S3 (the panel that includes the wheel arch)? A previous owner did a crappy repair job on the wheel arch and I might be able to source a replacement panel from a scrapyard if that panel can be replaced...

it can, but you need to cut it out and weld in a new one.

I don't think it's replaceable. As it goes all the way up and along top of side windows.

Is it not repairable?

Ahh, too late. Sounds like alot of work though.

@aragron - I was afraid of that. ETKA shows it as one part for the whole side of the car, but shows no mounting bolts.

@S3featesV9 - It could probably be repaired a bit better, but would not be worth the effort to be honest. You can just see that the arch has been rolled if you look up close.
