    Rear wiper blank

Morning all, just a quick one, somone has nicked my blanking plate that goes into the hole for the rear wiper. Anyone know what a good replacement would be to stop the theives? If not would a push blank from a diy store do the job?

Thanks to all for help. Thanks and likes for all that post

Just use a rubber grommet (not Gromit)

You could put some sort of bar through the inside part of the grommet, making it more difficult to pull out, but with a strong enough force the rubber would perish anyway. Would make it less likely to be stolen, as people remove these things from other peoples car to be annoying, and I can't see anyone wanting to waste a lot of time if it doesn't budge straight away..

What is the diameter, and depth of the hole in glass? Found a dealer who sells some delete plugs but not for the 8L. I contacted the dealer, who asked the measurements so he could check if some other plug would fit.

venom motorsport do a tinted glass stick in piece for about £20 that looks pretty smart, but personally I've always just used halfords grommets, £2 for a pack of a few of them, doesn't matter if it gets nicked or pushed in, as they're pence
