fixing charcoal canister noise?

has anyone replaced their charcoal canister and if so does a new one make alot less noise?

it can be pretty loud and annoying

The ticking noise? It's normal.

The canister and pipes can be removed though I'm not sure how to go about it.

yeah the ticking noise. its pretty loud
tbh i don't fancy removing it all together but if a new one is a bit quieter and not that expensive then it might be worth it.

I.think you need to blank one hose and vent another to the arch. I think the middle hose is a fuel line

Just remove and vent into drivers wing, looks neater and quitier lol.

Fix what? the ticking noise? thats normal operation...

Doing a EVAP delete would typically require diagnostics to be disabled in the map to stop CEL coming on tc...
