Number Plate Surround Fitting

So i have a new set of number plate surrounds and pressed plates. Fitted the rear one easy enough as it was just un-screw the plate and change with the new surround and insert plate.
I had a new bumper fitted a while back and the front plate is just stuck on with double sided tape from the looks of it.
My question is will the bumper have threaded bolt holes in it as standard behind the number plate or will i need to get some self tapping screws before attempting to fit the surround?
