Brake fluid

I just had the dumbass dealer ring me and tell me my braake fluid needs changed as the car is now 2 years old. Im sure they are correct but why cant it be done as part of the service, its crazy! no service for 18k miles then 3 in 6 months!

AVS my 4rse, they may as well just go back to the 6k interval.

Sevice @ 18 k, then another @ 20k for haldex, then another at 24k for brake fluid and another £90 - no chance! Ill put it towards bembos.

You should have had it all done together, but you would think as dealers they would inform you of this when they serviced the car at 18k.

I guess its not so much the mileage as the age of the car - they must reckon that it takes two years for condensation to contaminate the fluid. A bit pessimistic by the stealers I reckon!
