Strut brace help

a little advice is required if you don't mind.

I fitted my Jom strut brace today only to find the the bonnet doesn't shut properly with it in there. so for the time being i have put some washers on the bonnet mount and moved it around so it shuts. has anyone else come across this do i have to cut the bonnet supports or just remove the strut and melt it down.

Hi graham I fitted mine ages ago and never had any problems with it or even closing the bonnet where did u get it from and is it adjusted it right here's mine fitted below

yea my jom one takes a different route it goes up a bit more than yours.
