    Quick coilover question?

Ok so been browsing the web for some coilovers, and doing research etc.

For some coilovers such as JOM they state a3 1996-2003 and dont fit quattro and S3. But other makes like on eBay say the same except fit all models including Quattro and S3?

Why is this? Probably a simple explanation but I can't think?

4wd and fwd coilovers are not interchangeable, probably just ebayers not knowing what they are on about. (i may be wrong, but thats what i was told on here when i asked)

That's what I initially thought. Surely if they state they fit Quattro and S3 models...but they don't, its illegal or against some kind of trading act I'm sure.

JOM don't do a kit for the Quattro but as mentioned the FWD and Quattro kits are different.

Anyone had any experience with V-maxx coilovers?
