Had a lengthily drive to pick up the S3. The first 20 miles I was very impressed with it, huge difference compared to my previous Clio 182 (minus the handling) . S3 is on a 02 Plate with 93k miles.
Anyway problems:
1) Fan's are constantly running, not on full but just on enough to keep bringing the temp down to about 60. I've searched and found this can be fixed by replacing the 2 Thermostat sensors?
2) Car was smooth through all the gears and came on boost nicely until it started being very intermittent, boost spikes, sluggish boost, no power and then all of a sudden all of it. I've had a good look through the forum and I'm getting all confused about n75 valves etc, so I think I will have to do my homework on that. Is there a page like.. "Boost issues for dummies" Because that would be real helpful as I'm a tad stressed and just want it sorted.
