how do i get rid of service light?.

Hi, How can i remove the service light off my audi a3?. I've found a few things on google but they don't work. i've also got the demo ross tech programme with obd2 lead although i doubt this will remove it. Any help much appreciated.

a mate did the gf's at the weekend..i didn't really pay too much attention but i think it went something along lines of:
he pressed the two spindle things by the speedo/rev counter for a few seconds, ignition was on but car wasn't running..
however he then had to reset service interval using a box (not PC) hooked up to the diagnostics port (he could chose 9300 or 18,600 service intervals iirc)
probably better to go to a local garage and sling them a few quid

yea, take a look in your handbook, it's a simple combo of pressing the two stalks in the right order whilst operating the key as well. takes about 30 seconds and requires no tools at all.
