    which springs/shocks

    thinking of putting these
eBay - The UK's Online Marketplace

    or these
eBay - The UK's Online Marketplace
    with these
eBay - The UK's Online Marketplace

guessing the second option is the better one really unless anyones got any better ideas for under £200

only thing im worried about with the bilstein shocks is that they are not any harder than oem, will that be ok as its only a 35mm drop?
    cheers

Kind of pointless putting on Bilstein shocks with unbranded cheap springs...I`d avoid the first and last line tbh.

Also arent the B4 shocks just basically a standard replacement? Its the B8`s that are uprated? Could be wrong as i dont know all that much about Bilstein..

For the price, the second option is where i'd be spending my cash.

B4's are "OEM" but afaik they are slightly uprated, as bilstein used to sell a "streetline" kit which had the B4 shocks and some ventura lowering springs. I had a set on my old nova back in the day and they were acceptable enough. Not bangy or crashy etc.

If you`re on a tight budget just get some decent springs and good condition second hand standard shocks if yours are getting tired?

You could ruin the car putting cheap parts on it imo

Its always worth buying quality parts and knowing its done once done right

After all you chose a Audi for a reason don`t put wishy washy parts on it.

If you wanted a cheap car then Audi wasn`t the way to go imo.

lol 'cheap' is one thing this car has not been. so far:

clutch, flywheel, headgasket, valves, cambelt + tensioners, water pump, thermostat, glow plugs, egr delete, wheels, tyres, interior, service and remap. Thats what i can remember off the top of my head, only had the car since july
