squiel whistle while on boost 130 tdi!

03 pd 130 tdi distinct whistle squiel on boost while accelerating! it does not sound like turbo whistle more like shes sucking air! ive got a friend who has a vw specilist workshop who says its an age milege thing! 130000 miles but im not sure! any one had this! or solved it! its the only bad point of the car and would love a cure!

normal mate, these pd tdi's have a loud turbo air induction sound and spool whistle. enjoy it. if it starts to sound like a siren then your turbo is on its last legs.

Where do you hear the noise? On mine I can usually hear suction of air sound eminating from the passenger side (oddly enough). I can only really hear the whistle when the windows are down.

it sounds like a sqealing fan belt but not as bad! thats the best way i can describe it! power is on the button but this noise is not air suction!
