Detachable Towbars - Help Finding One!

Need to get a detachable towbar for my S3 but can't find one for a decent price.

I know the Bosal one is part no. 026-183, but I can only find one place which sells that exact item and it's £300!!!

I've looked through all the threads on here and have seen lots fitted for under £200, but which towbar did you end up buying?

Do the normal A3 towbars fit? I can't see why they'd be any different to a specific 'S3 towbar'?...

Need to get one pronto since I'm heading over the Alps and need to carry my bikes on my Thule towbar mounted bike rack.

not sure if the chassis rail mounting points differ on the quattro chassis, but we had a lovely brink swan-neck detachable towbar on our 8L TDi. I'm sure it came from Tow-Equipe, and they offered an S3 version too.

Not cheap though, around £280 with the wiring kit.

Yes they are totally different mounts..
