Im very dissapointed in myself. I took a trip up to my dads at the weekend and put my new k&n oil filter and magnetic sump plug at the same time it was snowing but its only frozen water what the heck
, so I had about 2 litres left in the bottle which went in the boot and then I decided to take my old wheels home with me at the same time so I put the seats in the full low position and pile them in and wedge the oil upright. when I got home after 130 miles it was about half 6 after unloading my bits and bobs (not the oil don't know why just didn't) I went to my girlfriends after that, about 7 miles which is a couple mins driving hard, picked her up and came home happy times. When I leave for work in the morning I had to get a cd out the car for the work van and noticed that I had a massive oilly smell coming from inside the car after looking I saw it was the half empty oil bottle on the back of the large rear seat. Epic Fail soaked all the way through. after taking the seat out (pretty heavy a good 15kg) realised it was bad it was almost dripping out the seat. it currently in my oil tray draining out.
Just wondering what I should do. I was going to leave it for a couple days to drain and then use some degreaser to try and get the rest out and then soak in a paddling pool or something with washing up liquid.
Dont really know if its going to work, if anyone has any suggestions would be handy.
As for my sparks I recently had to replace my coil pack was around £60-£80 from awesome, so I thought I would get some new sparks aswell, but they have a 0.4mm gap where as the old ones were 0.9mm gap am I going to see a performance drop due to the spark not being as long and thus being in contact with less fuel creating a slightly slower explosion time.
