Yes it is. It works without can. Been fitted up to 1999 year.

if your car hasn't got one or if you have 1/2 dis and you want full DIS -

Some preface- lifts are upgraded like mine.. A few subtle changes before facelif that had a digital clock and ESP. Also the obd2 port is under the drivers steering!

Mines a 2001 but said something on the v5 about 1999 before it was imported to Ireland
