    N75 question...

Sitting in (i cant drive cause of a little bit of snow) traffic Saturday, i thought id have a play with my Liquid gauge (as i never use the bloody thing)... flicked it on to the N75 setting, and even flat in 1st,2nd,and 3rd, it was only opening 90%?? Is this correct, or is there a problem?? I ran a fault code scan, and said it was fine???

    Pete...

90% duty cycle is pretty much flat out... N75 duty cycle is determined by load and boost request... the ECU will turn the N75 on and off to control boost to the required boost for the load...

Depending on the circumstances it could be as high as 90/95% or more normally 80 ish %

People get confused about boost and airflow... the ME7 ECU is a clever little bugger... it will sometimes use less boost to still get the same airflow/cylinder fill its tuned to achieve...

Would it be worth contacting bill for a TIP price as it's looking like a hybrid is on it's way
