More bulb help plz!!

buying some new numberplate lights and there is 2 types listed... small 501 pushfit or long festoon ..which is it plz... its a 2001 Xplate A3

my 99 is festoon bulbs.

best way to know is just go take a look. only 2 screws pop out job done

well i have ordered the festoon ones... and i would but my brother has stole my little set of screwdrivers and stuff!

just had a quick look around online. sites i looked at are saying 36mm festoon bulbs for 96-03 A3's

did you get SMD festoon bulbs or just standard replacement ?

SMD... whatever tht means lol

its like a LED but take up less space SMD (surface mount diode)

i got 6 SMD's per bulb. lights the whole back of the car up. million times better then the standard halogen ones
