ok im starting to really love my s3, im just starting to mod it up, gonna aim for 300bhp for a fast road car with the odd track day use, and i no suspension can make or brake a car, i no coilovers should always work best but they dont always work on all cars, whats the best set up for the s3?

Bilstein B8's and Eibach springs are a popular choice and from personal exprience work very well indeed.

Having never driven an S3 with this setup I cannot personally comment, however I can say I've never heard a bad review of this setup. It seems to be the most popular and one of the best setups for the S3. I think this is mainly due to Bilstein actually doing research into the damping of their units for driving characteristic, where as most companies just go on guide weights and hope for the best.

As mentioned the Bilstein B8 dampers and either the Eibach or H&R springs work very well on the S3 8L, tried and tested combo.
