    007p or 008 help please?

    Hi all

I am looking at buying a 007p valve but came across the 008 valve witch i think looks a bit better and apparantly works better aswell i was wondering if anyone could shed anylight on the performance.

Im not after the load dump sound after a bit more performance as i plan on getting k04 turbo (with everything new manifolds injectors.....) so every bhp counts :P

    Thanks

In all honesty mate just save the £13 and buy the 007p... it may not look as good but it will do
    exactly the same job.

I can't see how the 008 can perform better when all they are is a pressure relief valve with a piston and a spring!

The only reason i brought a 007p over a standard one is that i'm running a stage 2 s3 with quite a few mods..
but for a standard k04 the standard bosch item is perfectly capable... and about £15 IIRC

Yea i know but after i obtain a k04 i intend on about 250 bhp.

K04 won't be till after summer (my pay rise) Might start acccumalating parts tho such as b5 80mm TIP AEB manifold 3" or 2.75" full exhaust system, 380cc injectors and FMIC so i might aswell add a new DV to that aswell.

That sounds like some good mods planned mate..

like i say the 007p will be fine and cheaper than the 008

and i agree that you should start buying parts a bit at a time... cos its gets expensive trust me lol

And i can't recommend the badger5 tip highly enough.. an esential mod IMO.

Which exhaust and FMIC are you going for?

Not sure on exhaust or FMIC yet as I haven't had a proper look yet im prolly going to budget max 500 each or 400 fmic 600 exhaust something like that.

Im always open to sugestions for mods all ive ordered so far is some AP coilies S3 front and rear brakes and the parts for N249 delete will be doing all the work next weekend hopefully if not one day in the week after

I'm running a lot more than all of that with the 007 in situ.

Started a similar thread a few months back to the same response.

The 007 is great and almost identical. 99% of people on here are running it. Save your cash.
