A3 is playing up again.
i've replaced the sensor and the stat a while ago (cheap parts through a mate) been fine since i fitted them. apart from today the temp is not moving at all.
got no fault codes.
was thinking that the stat could be stuck open. i've got heat inside the car, not at hot as normal. coolant level is spot on the line.
anyone else think it would be the stat stuck open ?

Forge 007P, front mounted intercooler, smoothed airbox with jetex panel filter, boost gauge, wideband AFR, 312mm brakes, 3" downpipe/decat,straight thought, s/s backbox, stage 1 remap, coilovers, silicone TIP

you would still see some temp if the stat was stuck wide open
red to red black to black blue to bits
instrument panel ?

Have u donee the 49c test to check both readings are matching?

If it was a thermostat stuck open the car would still warm up like normal at standstill and then as soon as you move drop down... is it doing this?

how do you do the 49C check?
no, the temp gauge has no movement at all. checked for faults codes with the dials. reading no fault codes

possible gauge,go into instruments with vcds go to output test and do a sweep test to check the cluster is working correctly
