Car does not always fire first turn..

I have mentioned this problem before on similar threads, that when the fuel is below quarter tank, the car will not start on the first turn of the key if left overnight.
It always started second go every time... fill the tank up and it starts on the button everytime, until it hits the quarter mark again
Well this morning it happened, complete failure, less than a quarter of a tank in and the pump this time was dead,
Changed pump tonight (bloody fiddley job, and thanks westy for the Iphone LNM) and it starts on the button, the big test will be tomorrow morning...
So its an heads up really if your car is doing the same, the pump will die, so get it on your list!

this is super helpful as mine does this! only had it 2 weeks, and its only had half a tank or less in since, starts now and again, but when fuel low takes a few tries, or spins too many times before starting, but then filled the tank yesterday and it has started first time no hesitation even when its -5 out! thanks for this!
