How to clean MAF?

Can anybody help me out- how do i remove and clean the MAF? Any pics would be appreciated!.... will removing the MAF result in an error being recorded? Thanks in advance...

just remove the two screws and connector for the electrics and pull it out,no error code unless you turn on the ignition,blast it with isopropanol cleaning spray from RS components as this leaves no particulates or lubrication behind like electrical switch cleaners etc, let it dry and replace it.
