Boost increase ! Due to the weather conditions??

The other day i had been "playing" under the bonnet also had to reset home possition of the sunroof so included taking the battery off,
The wierd part of this was when i was out driving about an hour after... i did about 20 miles then as the roads cleared "pushed on a little " the car felt great, I checked the boost gauge and... it normaly spikes at about 24 psi then holds 22 through to the limit,
With the AFR gauge reading between 11.7 and 12.0 under full boost ,
This time i was seeing 28 psi dropping to 25 but with the same AFR readings.
The weather was very misty and showing 4.5 degree on the gauge .
Is this down the the colder dense air? or something down to the fact i reset the ECU?

Could be both mate, disconnecting the battery, resets the ecu's perimeters so it starts to learn again etc from what i understand.

See how it drives for a while mate and see if it maintains the same boost!

Both 99 based mate so yes.

Colder air does help, denser so more oxygen so better burn.

In general, turbo cars are usually quicker in cold weather than warm.

I had an amazing thought the other day, which will work for me and S3 owners.

My car had headlight washers so I have got an additional outlet for the washer bottle, and because I have my rear wash/wipe removed I have a pipe and pump for that too. My plan is to make an FMIC sprayer using the remaining pipes and setup and then just filling my washer bottle with water and using it that way. I was planning on running it so that it comes on with the rear wash, so on a power run or if I need boost on a hot day I can just bang it out and get cold/wet day performance.

I'll mock it up, make a proper profesh job of it and do a how to thread. I'm off this week so it is my task for the week
I quite often say I'm going to do things.

    Then never do them.

The reason i asked on here is that they are general tuners ( civic and corsa turbo cars) so i was unsure if they knew best about my set up

The boost would typically DROP in cold weather. Or perhaps more correctly increase in warm weather to compensate for the reduced charge.

    12:1 AFR is fine.

28 psi seems somewhat dangerous to me.
