R32 suspension on an S3?

Hi all,

I've seen a set of second hand kw V1 coilovers for sale and was hoping they would be ok for my car?
They do have different part numbers to the S3 ones and obviously the r32's engine is going to be a bit heavier but does anybody know if they would work on an S3?

They should fit but the spring rates will be different... what affect that will have will depend if they have just upped the fronts to support the heavier engine and left the rears the same as the S3 or upped them front and rear... stiffer front will understeer more... if both front and rear had been made stiffer then you will get a harsher ride...

Yeah thats sort of what I was thinking Paul, Probably not worth the messing around then and just fit some that are supposed to be fitted to the S3!

Think someone once fitted a full std R32 suspension setup to a S3 and was ok with the results.
