As title says, I have 9j rear alloys with 9j front, would I have to stick with same sizes tyres all round? Or could I go for 225's rear and 215's front ?

Rolling radius is the biggest issue... you need to maintain that I believe for ABS/ESP and the haldex system to know whats going on... different rolling radius front to rear will set off an ABS fault IIRC

When you have new tyres with say 7mm tread then older ones with maybe 3. You are going to have different rolling radius? And get no issues with ESP etc. or does that much difference actually not make a difference as such? Always wondered this when these convos come up

Pretty sure iirc jojo said the ecu allows for 3-4% deviation to take into account wear, pressures etc? :)
