Manifold bolts

Hi all,

I have a problem with the manifold bolts loosening on my s3 8l can anyone help?

I have tried using loctite but it just gets burnt off. The bolt in question is different to the other two in terms of the head of the bolt. I wondered if this is usual. Also should there be a threaded bar with a nut also?

Please help as it keeps coming loose.

I had this problem for a while. The turbo hanger bolt had come out which was loosing the turbo manifold bolts.

New turbo hanger bolt and all good never happened again.

My 2 pence.

Hi, where abouts is the hanger bolt?

What does that bolt hold. Is that a stupid question?
