I wouldn't dare use these cheap chinese copys on my car, If it every let go and broke up the parts would enter the engine and do some major damage

I know with my GTX its the real deal and i know i can run it at 2 bar all day and not have a problem
Was 531bhp 8L S3 thats going to break the 600+ bhp Club then break something else. Lets see what this OD HTAGT3582r can do

how can they advertise it as a GT35 and also then say journal bearing?!?!?!

    @ your risk dude..
    ~£1200 for a real GT35 as a comparison

if you did risk it, maybe send it directly to a refurbishing company to replace seals, thrust washers etc, and balance it properly..
    *might* be ok afterwards... *maybe*

    Noobz alert!!!

    S3's have a K04 as standard.

Those chinese turbo's are shocking, literally terrible. You make no mention of the thousands of pounds worth of additional work that would be required to run a 1.8t at the advertised bhp of that thing for longer than one pull...Fail basically.

The CHEAPEST, easiest and IMO best way to get reasonable power out of an 8L 1.8t is to hybrid the original turbo.
I quite often say I'm going to do things.

    Then never do them.
