Picked up my new S3 just over 2 weeks ago and booked her into my local VAG specialists RSD in Daventry Northamptonshire. As with any new car I always have her health checked and Serviced for peace of mind. My new 2001 AMK S3 has just clocked 73k.

She's just had Major service including all filters, fluids, sparkplugs, Contitech Cambelt kit, tensioner, pulleys and waterpump. Haldex oil and filter changed, front and rear Mintex brake discs and pads, also pressure tested for boost leaks.

Car is in perfect health, only fault was a slight split on the Outer CV gator which will be fixed for the upcoming MOT. Really pleased as with a 10yr old car I was half expecting a call to say something had cropped up during the service, however no bad news just "your S3 is a superb example and has been really well cared for". PROPER CHUFFED:yes:

Really pleased, as I travelled a long way to view this car which looked ****** good but there was always the niggle in the back of my mind until it had been thoroughly checked over.

Dropping 2 new front tyres on her tomorrow and waiting for my recently ordered Badger5 TIP to arrive. Then where I go will prob be some TTRS rims and a nice stance.

So glad to be in an S3, best car I've owned.:blackrs4:

Have to agree, the surge is addictive, ordered a Badger5 TIP last week, just waiting for it to be in stock, can't wait to fit it and release a bit more potential, oh and now and very tempted by xs power down pipe and sports cat :-D
