boot lock help

right i posted a little while ago bout not being able to get into boot well good news with help from reesey's instructions of removal i can get boot to open fine and closed fine few times but soome as i lock it then unlock it it wont open with the handle under the handle??? is the away of adjusting it or could someone take picture of theres to show me what im looking at??

it could be a case that the terminals on the switches have got corroded. this happened to mine as my rear washer had been leaking slightly and running over them, if the jet from the washers follows the wiper round the window rather than just spraying in one place then the wee brass pipe up to the nozzle is likely to be snapped and leaking. i repaired the washer motor and cleaned the terminals on the switches that had gone green and it all works now

wow easy is it to take it all out just so much going on with that mech i dont want to take it out and find i have to pull it all apart lol
