    Higher compression ratio in an s3?

    Basically im running an ARY engine in my s3 instead of an APY engine so now i have 9.5 to 1 comp ratio instead of 9 to 1. Can anybody think of anything that i should be wary of or look out for running higher compression? I know i have 19mm wrist pins before anybody mentions that. Just thought i would check to make sure.

    High boost will be the biggest issue... high comp ratio, high boost, higher cylinder pressure, weaker rods...

    As you have had issues with boost (in a previous thread) then cap it with an MBC...

    Yeah,im just running it at 5 psi just now with the n75 unplugged. Getting a manual controller to plumb in with it off my mate to see how it goes. Im just running it on super unleaded too.

    Welly is running that compression ratio but he has the rods to take that pressure
