Hi, I hope you guys dont mind but I only registered in order to find out if this is a genuine s3, the reason im paranoid is because ive not seen another in this colour.. its in very good condition with lovely black leather interior and it has 90,000 miles ( it had a new engine 30,000 miles ago at the price of £6,000)

Thanks

Rich

Tried entering the url but it goes to a private photobucket account.

Ah got it. Looks like an S3 but could do with more pics to be certain.

if you can get a photo of the engine bay up on here, someone will be able to tell you in seconds!!!

I personally don't see the point of making an S3 looky likey from an A3 shell, then sticking OEM RSTTs and S3 OEM look exhaust, I would just buy the real thing. It's an S3 for sure!... of course I stand to be corrected.

Look underneath and see if there are rear drive shafts, I'm guessing most replicas would be FWD models, since there's not many Quattro Sport models about.

There's a stupid amount of work to make an a3 identical to an s3 body work wise! I doubt to many people have bothered. Looks clean

Denim Blue TQS's are rare, especially as I have 2 of them! :) .

I can't see why it wouldn't be an s3, when I looked at getting one earlier in the year, I saw a couple of Denim Blue one, I think they are rarer in s3 form because noggy blue is available.

Looks exactly like my car, apart from the wheels, Denim Blue....the best colour by far :)

might be on a limb but the front discs look like the s3 size ones 312mm

can up with it by looking at my car with old wheels on which were same wheels as on pic and my discs looked smaller than the pic in the thread.
