oil light

my oil min light has come on on my 110 tdi, ive checked the oil and theres plenty in there, any ideas what the problem could be??

Is it definitely the min oil light and not the oil pressure light?

Was the light red or orange?

I would get the car scanned to be sure but does sound like the oil level sensor in the sump could be faulty...

yeah its definately the oil min light, and its orange. il have to get it scanned.
