From doing a bit of forum searching, it seems the clutch slave cylinder is a bit of a common **** hole 
Earlier on today, my clutch decided that it wanted to play up - I can just about change gear when the clutch pedal is pressed flat to the floor, am i right in thinking that this is down to the slave and not the master cylinder?
Also, about 3 hours after this happend I started to get a ticking sound that dissapears when I put the slightest amount of pressure on the clutch pedal....is this down to the same thing?
