The Small boost hose from the hard pipe to the N75...

I need to replace this hose on my car .
Would silicone vacuum hose work? Or does it need to be the propper job?
At the moment ive fitted a section of fuel hose i had left over from my mk2,

What size internal diameter piping did you use to do the whole lot ? Are a few different sizes needed ?
