Help... Ive just noticed yet another vac hose that may be leaking how can i tell??

While checking my DV i noticed that the pipe coming from the " vacuum reservoir " that sits above the 4th coil pack that goes to the n249 valve(or whatever silly number it has) goes from a rubber pipe to a plastic one for a bend... where the bend is looks over cinked and where it goes into the rubber just before the valve doesnt look sealed.
If this was a boost hose ( one of the big ones ) using soapy water in a spray would show this ... But arent these vacuum hoses arent they? How can i check if its leaking???

Remove the pipe, cover one end , force air into the other ?

But why not just do the N249 Delete to get rid of it all anyway ?

As above ditch the N249 and a load of potential vac leaks into the bargain

This is now the plan. I checked the pipe and not leak... but its a matter of time before one goes... So buying the silicone to remove it tomorrow.
