aftermarket stereo problems

Finally found the correct lead to put my stereo in my pre facelift S3 (PC9 - 408 autoleads)

Works fine apart from no base (sub doesnt seem to be working) is this my sony stereo or another lead i need to add on?

Depends if you have Bose or not. Is it just the sub not working or the rears as well. As the non Bose system runs the fronts off the HU then you will find you need to fade to rear quite a bit to balance the sound as you will have over twice the power going to the fronts and the same feeble 20w going to the rears.
