Anyone with VAGCOM in Oxfordshire??

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has a diagnostics kit around oxford my emmisions light has come on, i am pretty sure it will be because of my decat but just need a check and don't want to pay a stupid garage price of £50+
Today would be good if not can be a weekend.

Take a look in the vcds section. There is a vcds users map within that section, so there may be a user near you. Good luck.

messaged the nearest but he hasn't been on in ages and he is a fair few miles from oxford. would of thought there would be at least 1 in oxford its pretty central lol.

Fault code cleared and it hasn't come back on since..but the fault code as follows:

P0136 O2 Sensor circuit malfunction (bank1 sensor2) so this is the sensor after the cat, now

sensor 1 reads 0.43V-0.4350V
sensor 2 reads 0 V

is that a fault with the sensor or is it because of the decat?

its cos you got a decat
it will show again in a 100/200 miles

1 get it wrote out of the ecu
2 try a spacer sometimes they work
3 live with the light get a vcds and reset when it comes on

when you fit it if the lights on you will need to reset

I'm oxford too, was in need of vcds a while back, no one around here has it!

well the chap who did mine was in grove, so not far from oxford maybe 10 miles or so.
