Coilover settling down period

I read that the springs take a while to settle, but are they temperature sensitive, reason I ask is because they've been on a week and have settled a little, slight arb knock over speed bumps but other than that ok, I went out this afternoon and it was fine, drove it this evening and I was getting rub while on the flat, only thing that varied from earlier I can imagine is temp?

Also, why is the OS driveshaft a larger bore compared to NS?
