As above, iv ordered one and will be fitting it asap, just wondering if there is a noticeable difference with it on a standard 2002 bam s3?
Want to have this fitted first, then remapped when funds allow down the road. Getting it mapped on the rollers and with adjustment for the tip and n249 bypass.

Lol, yes I gain 19 bhp, dont suppose you've read the thread on it then... ;)

Cool, yes I read the thread, but didn't realise your car wasn't remapped.
instead you have
Forge turbo-charge pipe connecting elbow pipe,
Pipewerx 3 inch down pipe and decat,
Milltek non resonated cat back exhaust system,
Badger 5 three inch turbo intake pipe - can be supplied with either a Jetex cone filter or standard air box,
Forge 007p diverter valve,
AH Fabrications large front mount intercooler with 63mm piping,
Integrated Engineering con rods with Calico big end bearings,

Dane , i recon YOU havent read my post, "standard S3" LOL , back at ye!

Here you go, from Danes thread. I don't think Coyles car was in tip top form when this was done though

ok... some more testing done earlier this week.. on a bog stock s3.. no map, no silicon tip, just a small jetex cone (not the large one I sell)

airflows.. low for a 210 S3... Not an overly healthy example of a car, but it was what it was.
logs of airflows on its as arrived condition (brand new maf element installed as it arrived with a dead one)

small jetex cone (too small !) std tip, then tried its old airbox on with its old dirty panel filter, then fitted the small jetex cone to it with 3inch tip..

best figures used for all the scenarios tested..

Headline figures (low for a 210 S3)
std rubber TIP small cone filter - 216.8bhp max airflow 164.61g/s
std rubber TIP OE airbox used paper filter - 218.8bhp max airflow 163.67g/s
3inch TIP small cone filter - 225.0bhp max airflow 169.03g/s

8.2bhp gains on like for like, std car from the 3inch TIP alone.
