Service indicators

My next service is due in 2500 miles, but the car feels like it needs a service sooner than that.
Is there a way to reset the service "counter" if a service is done early? (If not then it will pop up 2500 miles after the service, I'll reset it, and it will then tell me again 10k miles later, a full 12500 after the service I want to get done now...).

Re: Service indicators

regardless of what the car says if you want to get it services earlier you can take it to audi and they will be more than happy to take your money off you!

just means your next service will be due at a lower millage.

I always use a local independent, so chances are he'll simply not do anything to reset the service thingy and I'll end up doing it. He'll be happy to take my money too of course.
