Failed MOT today

I was expecting it to fail on a wish bone bush but it didn't, instead it failed on 2 other things, both rear springs were snapped, very surprised not to of noticed this. I have never been so pleased for a car to fail an MOT, damn, looks like I have to order my coilovers this week

Yeah that's what I was thinking, common problem they said, first for me.

Yes - it is a common problem !
And.....sometimes depending on where the break is on the springs you may not even ever notice it (an MOT may even miss it-depending on the tester!) . Coupled with the fact you probably would not even realize they were broke when driving a standard setup car !

Agreed it is quite common, but not hard to replace them
