I remember reading about some drive by wire VAG cars reving up slightly when changing gears. ( as if you hadnt lifted off the gas in time) a lad localy had this problem on his mk4 golf 1.8t so i said it could be that , he sorted it and says its a diffrent car!
All this time mine has had the same problem but i just drive round it , Also ...after my car feeling a little flat on the power side coming out of round abouts every now and then i decided to VAG COM the thing, 1 fault ( sorry cant remember actualy what it said ) but was in the AWD section and said something about brake switch implausable signal? intamitant
I had this come up a few years back just cleared it and all was well.
Will changing these two small parts realy make such a noticable diffrence??
