Clutch Pedal

Iv'e just noticed that when i press my clutch pedal down it has become soft and what I'd describe as spongy!

It used to be quite hard to press down and I liked this. There are no signs of the clutch slipping and Iv'e done 45k, any ideas?

Don't know whether it's just me but the car does not seem to pull and accelerate as hard too???

does the pedal stick down sometimes ?

No never! There seems to be alot more play on it when you just touch it with your foot lightly before really pressing it down

erm does the clutch cylinder need bleeding?!
if brakes go spongy does the clutch go spongy?
