Back is as low as the adjusters will let him

If you remove the adjusters it drops another inch, which is too much. Which makes me sad.

The front needs to come up slightly rather than dropping the back more, because he lives in the arse end of nowhere and up a horrific road.

It's a bang tidy car though

    Boost.

    Saw Phil today

He was busy, so I double clamped my exhaust and fitted a new dogbone.

A couple more bits of pointless spam.

Exhaust has quite nicely melted into the bumper, so once it cools I can pull the melted plastic off and will have a perfectly formed exhaust cut out.

    Utter genius.

    Well!

4 years, 4 house moves, 4 jobs, one whirlwind relationship and many great friends later I'm back in Basingstoke with my family!

    Which means I have a drive-way again!

Spent literally ALL day, (7:30 until now) giving the Audi the visual love and attention it's lacked for so long.

Today it has been...Iron-X'd, clayed, wheels deionised, engine bay cleaned, interior steam cleaned and shampoo'd, leathers cleaned and treated, interior glass cleaned, all interior plastics blacked and protected, fixed the boost gauge, refitted the radio, stripped and heat gunned all the exterior plastics then treated them, paintwork polished, black hole'd and sealed, wheels waxed, tyres treated, engine bay treated...literally everything.

As such, it looks radical to the power of sick.

Cannot wait to meet up with Prawn and show him all my handy work, as well as get back to my old antics.

My mum is the ultimate petrol head mum, she's had Porsches, a Ferrari, M3's and M5's etc. She loves it.

She had a black 159 JTDM Cloverleaf Turismo with red Momo leather, then a black 24V Brera JTS with satin chrome and black wheels, now she's got the red 159 JTDM Lusso.

And a Fiat 500 for when the Alfa breaks down

The red Alfa has done 211,000 miles now

Expect a bone shaking time for the first 500 miles are so.....but well worth it in the end.

Will really highlight any rattles/vibrations you may have around the vehicle.....ohhh and the ladies love it lol

    Fine by me.

I have spent loads of time in Prawns car and know to expect. Hopefully with my "race" bushed dogbone mount it should feel great.

Yeah I've sure it will feel great.

Really compliments the rest of the handling set up and provides a lot more confidence in throwing her about - less wobbling about the better

Will you be fitting them over this weekend?

    That's good to hear.

Have had polybushed front arms and both lower dogbone bushes for a few months now. But now it feels like the engine is pivoting around the dogbone because of slack in the engine and gearbox mounts.

I will do a write up for them and see how I get on
I quite often say I'm going to do things.

    Then never do them.

Same old story with any mod as I'm sure you're well aware of by now.....you upgrade one part on the car and the remaining OEM parts will soon show there age! lol

Yeah a write up would be good fella - be interested to hear how you get on with them in your motor as the majority of people who have gone down the Polytek route have done it to their track cars/large bhp second cars.

This is your daily/only car isn't it? Or do you get the joys of a company car from the dealership you work in?

After a bit of a clean up, I have a sub 9 set of brakes.

I quite often say I'm going to do things.

    Then never do them.
