I aint paying nearly £30 delivered from forge for a piece of metal.

Make one yourself if you can?

Or you could use a core plug to the same size as the hole. You can get them from engine machine shops

I made my own when i converted my mk2 to 20vt. Used an offcut from a strip of ali, shaped it using my bench grinder and then drilled the holes. I reused the original gasket after a little trimming so it fitted perfect...

Cost me the total of bot all and 5 minutes. Ive got loads of that ali strip if your stuck bud.

Have you've kept the lower part of your airbox in situ?

Nope, you could do though, ive just fitted a smaller breather into the sai intake .

As Dave said, just weight and less things to go wrong. The secondary pumps are common failures. They only run in the first few seconds of startup anyway.
