Bose upgrade possible?

I have a 52 reg A3 without bose. It has a standard very small sub in the boot compartment that is barely audible. I am considering upgrading to the Bose system that has come out of an 8l S3. That is, sub and all speakers.

Is this possible? A straight swap or additional leads required?

Any help would be very much appreciated.

It would almost require a rewire, as the Bose amp sits in the driverside boot compartment and needs power to run it, and swopping out the sub on the left hand side. Consider an Andymac stealth sub(do a search), and get a 4ch amp with some decent front speakers, all for a half decent stealth install over standard mate.

Cheers mate, might consider just upgrading the speakers then. i'll have to think about it now... Just thought BOSE would of been nice.

tbh I wouldn't bother.... full Bose on the S3 isn't all that although it did sound tons better when I swapped the OEM headunit out for my Alpine...

Andy Mac Stealth Sub is a useful upgrade if you want more presence without loosing boot space... here are some other ideas from my own install starting from here...
