Hi guys Just looking at old posts on here about the rear diff and the oil what to use ?

opie oils said to use 75w-85 for the rear diff but i see people useing the 75w-90 ?

My question is what are people using ? 1ltr be enough ?

Thanks

dude, stop reposting the same questions.

1lt is enough

put either oil in its fine, the difference in viscosity is minimal, and to be honest these 10+ year old cars could do with some thicker stuff

if your this unsure perhaps you want to take your car to a garage and pay them to do it for you. That way if anything goes wrong you can go back to them to get it sorted rather than it be your fault.

Audi are quite cheap for transmission oil and then you know you have the right spec. stuff in there.

I think he just wants to be 100% sure he puts the right stuff in bud

I wouldn't go off age when changing the haldex oil, Daniels' car has only done around 43000 miles :)

Thanks guys for the help, Yes just have to check again the car is very mint with 43,000 on the clock,
but now going to order the oil's and get them changed.

Kind Regards
